Arielle Perry scored a perfect 100% in the the Amateur Handler Junior/Young Rider class. Arielle showed her four-year-old Hanoverian mare Reba's Song by Rotspon out of Windsong.
According to the members of the Dressage at Devon committee, it was the first time anyone had accomplished that feat. Even a high ranking USDF member could not
recall anyone ever getting a perfect score in any breed show. The class was judged by Olympic medalist Hilda Gurney. Details can be found on the Dressage Daily website.
Later Wednesday evening, Arielle showed Reba to a fifth place finish in the GAIG Mare Championships and helped to secure fourth place for the Marydell Farm Breeder's Group.
In addition, the Committee members of DAD voted Arielle to be the recipient of the "John Perry Memorial" Perpetual Trophy. This trophy is given to the individual that exemplifies good sportsmanship or has accomplished something special at DAD. Arielle won it for both reasons.
